Rolls Landscaping Ltd is a respected landscaping and garden maintenance company serving Dorset and the surrounding counties. We are known for delivering high-quality work and dependable service, and we are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscaper to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our landscaping team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with proven landscaping experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship.
Essential Requirements
· Hold a full, valid driving licence.
· Demonstrate a strong interest in landscaping, supported by relevant practical experience.
· Be hardworking, self-motivated, and ambitious, with experience across a broad range of landscaping activities.
· Be comfortable undertaking manual and physically demanding work.
· Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Have a creative approach and strong attention to detail.
· Be able to work accurately from layout plans.
· Possess good organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Be able to travel to our yard in Charminster, Dorchester for 7:00 am starts.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.
· Prepare for and carry out landscaping and construction work, including patio laying and decking installation.
· Construct driveways, footpaths, and other similar hard landscaping features.
· Build, repair, and maintain walls, fences, and related structures.
· Install garden features such as sheds, cabins, and outdoor furniture.
· Create paths, steps, paved areas, and prepare borders for planting.
· Construct raised beds and retaining walls using timber sleepers.
· Maintain, clean, and care for tools, machinery, and equipment.
· Complete accurate records, including timesheets and vehicle or trailer check sheets.
· Use hand tools, machinery, and powered tools safely and effectively in line with landscaping requirements.
· Support colleagues and contribute positively to the wider team effort.
· Undertake general landscaping and ad hoc duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have practical hard landscaping skills, including patio laying, brick and block work, fencing, and decking. They should also demonstrate a sound awareness of basic health and safety, effective planning and organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to listen to and follow instructions.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week
Salary: Rates of pay between £13.00 - £15.00 depending on experience. Competitive salary from £30,000 per year, plus overtime
