Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
- Engage in active listening to understand customer preferences and provide tailored recommendations
- Negotiate deals effectively to maximize customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets
- Manage multiple customer interactions efficiently, ensuring timely and organized service delivery
- Maintain thorough knowledge of products, promotions, and company policies to inform customers accurately
- Utilise IT tools and sales software to record transactions, update customer information, and track sales performance
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to clarify product features, answer questions, and resolve concerns
- Be able to serve customers, know where stock is, know about alcohol
- Organize the sales floor to ensure a clean, inviting environment that encourages browsing and purchasing
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge how to handle a shop (optional)
- Proficiency in English required; additional language skills are a bonus
- Effective communication skills that foster rapport with diverse customers and colleagues
Pay: £12.71 per hour
