In this role, you will be engaged in general manufacturing across various departments on the Shop Floor. As a Production Worker at W.J. Leech & Sons Ltd., you will be an essential part of producing Side curtains of all shapes and sizes for the logistics industry. Your responsibilities will include working on the Assembly Line, Hand Welding, Operating Automated Sewing Machines, and using Welding Machines to help maximize production efficiency.

Job Description
The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualities:
- Safely and efficiently operate various production equipment, including air power tools, riveter guns, hot air guns, and other specialized machinery, to manufacture side curtains tailored to various sizes and specifications.
- Conduct regular visual and quality checks to ensure all side curtains meet the high standards required for the logistics industry. Ensure durability, functionality, and precision in every product.
- Assemble and create side curtains for trucks, trailers, and other vehicles, ensuring each curtain is made to the exact specifications required for different uses within the logistics sector.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Comfortable taking initiative and solving problems when needed.
- Strong commitment to working safely and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Responsibilities of Working at W.J. Leech & Sons Ltd.
- Operate Production Line Equipment
- Safely and efficiently use air power tools, riveter guns, hot air guns, and other machinery as required by the production process.
- Ensure Product Quality
- Conduct regular visual inspections to ensure products meet company quality standards, and report any issues or defects.
- Assembly and Manufacturing Tasks
- Assemble products on the production line according to specified designs, following instructions and ensuring accurate assembly.
- Maintenance and Cleaning
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas, equipment, and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Overtime
- Be prepared to work overtime as required to meet production deadlines, especially during busy periods. Your willingness to contribute extra hours when necessary will help ensure the timely completion of orders and the continued success of the business.
