Step into a varied and dynamic administrative role where you’ll be central to supporting both our Property Management team and the wider business, working in a small, friendly and lively office environment.
The role can be worked over 4 full days or 5 shorter days per week, and is conveniently located at Peel Hall Business Park, just outside Blackpool and Lytham.
About Us
Rowan is a growing, family-run property management business specialising in apartment blocks and housing estates. We serve local clients in Lancashire and Cumbria with one office on the Fylde Coast and one in the Lake District.
In June, we were named UK Managing Agent of the Year in our size category. We are also proud to have consistently strong customer feedback, with 98% five-star and 2% four-star reviews on Trustpilot. Our success is built on a hard-working, supportive and kind team culture.

Your Role
You’ll provide central support across our Property Management, Maintenance, Compliance and Accounts teams. It’s a varied, practical and action-based role focused on keeping tasks moving, records accurate and actions followed through.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling incoming calls, emails and portal enquiries, resolving straightforward queries where possible and passing more complex matters to the right person.
- Supporting maintenance administration, including arranging contractor visits and chasing progress.
- Keeping compliance, property and contractor records up to date, including certificates, renewal dates and recurring tasks.
- Preparing routine property sales and conveyancing paperwork, and assisting with major works consultation packs, Companies House and ownership administration.
- Supporting routine financial and insurance administration, including service charge information, arrears and renewals.
- Setting up new clients and properties on our systems and keeping key information accurate and up to date.
- Carrying out data entry if required.
- Escalating anything that requires Property Manager, technical, financial or legal judgement.
- Supporting ad hoc workstreams and improvement projects across the business where required.
This is an office-based support role rather than a client management position. Property Managers remain responsible for site visits, client relationships, property decisions, lease interpretation, significant expenditure and complex or contentious matters.
On-the-job training will be provided, including training on our software systems and any technical areas needed for the role.

- Flexibility to work the role over 4 full days or 5 shorter days per week, subject to agreement.
