Our client, a respected independent automotive business, is actively recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles, including BMW, VAG, Porsche, and Mercedes, in a busy yet supportive environment.

- Competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 6pm, with occasional Saturdays on a rota

Duties:
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults across various makes and models
- Conducting routine servicing and maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Performing brake, engine, suspension, and electrical repairs
- Reading fault codes accurately using diagnostic equipment such as Snapon and Autel
- Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within agreed timeframes
- Communicating effectively with customers, providing professional advice and updates
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all work carried out
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with at least 2-3 years in a workshop environment
- Competent in using diagnostic tools and equipment, including Snapon, Autel, etc.
- Own tools and familiarity with diagnosing and repairing main vehicle brands such as BMW, VAG, Porsche, and Mercedes
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and MOT preparations
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards customer service
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
