Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
- Ensure all food preparation areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations
- Support junior kitchen staff through training and mentorship where applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen setting but most of all passion and drive to produce the best.
- Previous similar restaurant experience is essential
- Excellent skills in culinary techniques across various cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Serving experience is a plus but not essential; a genuine passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences is vital
