This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-level executive, administrative and governance support within a fast-paced corporate environment. Working closely with the Corporate Services Manager, you will support the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leader, Mayoral Office and strategic corporate programmes, including Local Government Reorganisation.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of senior leadership offices, managing complex diaries and correspondence, coordinating meetings and events, and acting as a professional point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders. The role also involves supporting governance arrangements, strategic projects and organisational change initiatives, helping to deliver key corporate priorities and outcomes.

You will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective working relationships with colleagues, elected Members, partners and external stakeholders. A strong understanding of governance processes, confidentiality requirements and the importance of political awareness within a local government setting would be advantageous.
