Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems or manual methods
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food preparation and serving processes
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables, ensuring prompt attention and smooth operations
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback professionally
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly preferred
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation skills
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary environments is a plus
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and cash transactions confidently
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
