Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive Fleet Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our growing vehicle fleet.
The role will work closely with the wider Fleet, Maintenance, Compliance and Logistics teams to ensure vehicles remain safe, compliant and operational, while helping to minimise vehicle downtime and maintain an efficient fleet operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day running of fleet operations, supporting the wider Fleet team with daily priorities.
- Help manage and reduce Vehicle Off Road (VOR) numbers by monitoring outstanding repairs, maintenance and vehicle issues and ensuring these are progressed promptly.
- Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure vehicles remain safe and roadworthy from a maintenance perspective.
- Monitor outstanding servicing, maintenance and repair requirements and ensure vehicles are booked in and completed within the required timescales.
- Provide logistics support, coordinating vehicle movements with the Logistics team between sites, garages, suppliers and other locations.
- Liaise with garages, suppliers and internal departments to obtain updates and ensure outstanding work is progressed.
- Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure vehicle information and statuses are kept up to date across internal systems.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and basic vehicle checks where required.
- Support with vehicle preparation and availability to ensure vehicles can be returned to service as quickly as possible.
- Provide general administrative support to the Fleet team, including updating trackers, reports and internal systems.
- Escalate any vehicle safety, maintenance or compliance concerns to the relevant manager.
- Support the wider Operations team when required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the efficient running of the fleet.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Must be aged 25 or over due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the automotive industry, ideally within fleet management, vehicle rental, private hire, leasing or a similar environment.
- Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and general fleet operations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and fleet management systems.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
