Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, contributing to a variety of construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Supporting excavation activities using excavators or manual methods as required
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Performing general site maintenance including clearing debris, cleaning work areas, and organising materials
- Assisting with construction-related tasks such as mixing materials, lifting heavy objects, and preparing sites for work
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment and reporting any faults or issues
- Supporting team members in various labour-intensive tasks to ensure project deadlines are met
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment is desirable
- Experience with excavation machinery such as excavators or similar machinery is beneficial
- Background in construction or horticulture will be considered an asset
- Practical knowledge of irrigation systems and general site maintenance practices is preferred
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential
