Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. We are also seeking school and school drivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses along scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring cleanliness
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger counts
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed and addressing any concerns promptly
- Perform routine maintenance tasks or report any vehicle malfunctions to the maintenance team
- Assist with loading and unloading passengers, including those with mobility challenges
- Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is desirable
- Strong driving skills with experience in handling large vehicles such as lorries or buses
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely over long distances or extended periods
- Prior experience in customer service or passenger transport is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required
