Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and platforms. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, C#, and Java.
- Maintain and enhance existing websites and platforms by implementing new features and optimising performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend application functionalities.
- Manage version control using SVN, GitHub, Git, and utilise branching strategies for efficient development workflows.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy and scale applications securely.
- Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development standards.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in testing procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and system configurations thoroughly.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to recommend improvements for existing systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Solid understanding of server-side programming languages including C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, or C.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with RESTful API design is essential.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services including AWS or Azure for application deployment and management.
- Familiarity with Linux environments for application hosting and development workflows.
- Experience with application development involving.NET frameworks or VBA scripting is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a collaborative setting.
