We are on the hunt for a Part time, Level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse or Playworker to join our busy team in Abergele. Working between 16 and 20 hours a week.
We're looking for a fun, caring personality with a 'can-do' approach, a good team-player and great communicator. Our ideal candidate must hold a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 in Child Care, Play, Learning and Development (or hold an equivalent Level 2 or 3 Childcare or Playwork qualification) and have experience of working with children aged 0 to 12 years; a full Manual Driving License is also desirable but not essential.
You will be caring for children aged from 3 months up to 12 years and will be involved in planning and facilitating fun activities and learning opportunities. You will also need knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene - but we would be more than happy to update training in these areas.

Summary of Duties:
Children
1. Provide fun and stimulating play, learning and development opportunities for all children to develop individually and socially
2. Participate in children’s outings and trips
3. Maintain children’s safety during play and the safety of the play environment, including any equipment
4. Encourage children’s positive behaviour and respond positively to children’s unwanted behaviour
General
1. Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
2. Carry out some administrative duties such as completing daily diaries and registers
Pay: £12.81-£13.11 per hour
