Must be over 18 for this role due to licensing/serving of alcohol alone and the occasional lone working on some hours of shift.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff member to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their experience is enjoyable from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Must have own transport. Public transport is not suitable where we are located as minimal trains/buses to the area.
Mixed shift pattern, must be able to work any shifts over a 7 day week. please be aware rota changes weekly dependant on business/holidays and we are not able to offer set shifts on set days. This includes a mix of day times/evenings/weekends with some late nights on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression.
- Take and process customer orders accurately, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Support catering operations during events, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Assist with bartending duties as required, including preparing drinks and serving beverages responsibly.
- Assist with open and closing cash up/till procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in catering or food preparation will be advantageous.
- Must be confident with lone working on some shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential.
- A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
