HR Administrator
£21,000 per annum (FTE £35,000)

Job Summary
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate HR records, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and help ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation. This role requires relevant HR qualifications and demonstratable HR experience with excellent communication, confidentiality and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team across all HR functions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR documentation.
- Co-ordinate the onboarding and offboarding process for employees.
- Assist with recruitment activities, proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other recruitment channels, analysing CVs, scheduling and holding 1st interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, proving professional and timely support
- Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, salary amendments, and terminations.
- Support payroll by preparing and submitting employee information accurately and on time.
- Monitor and record employee attendance, leave, and absence data.
- Assist with note taking at disciplinary hearings
- Respond to employee HR-related queries and provide administrative guidance.
- Ensure HR files and documentation are maintained in compliance with data protection and employment legislation.
- Co-ordinating health surveillance, ensuring assessments and follow up actions are completed within the required timescales.
- Assist with performance review administration and employee training records.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as required.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or office administration role.
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
- Experience using HR Information Systems

Working Conditions
- Part-time position, 3 days per week
- Office-based
- Occasional flexibility may be required during peak recruitment or HR project periods.
