We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Saturday Barista/Coffee Shop All-Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing a variety of coffee and food items, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, possess good organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills whilst contributing to a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and other drinks.
- Assist with food preparation and serving light snacks or baked goods.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and handling payments.
- Maintain stock levels of supplies and ingredients, restocking as necessary.
- Keep the shop environment tidy, organised, and welcoming for customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
