Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pot Washer/Kitchen Assistant to support our busy culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen environment. Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitise pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff.
- Support the cleaning of work surfaces, floors, and other kitchen areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Help with organisation and storage of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Assist with serving food and beverages during busy periods if required.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or working within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles will be beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior staff.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
