Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and develop new menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
