This job is Full Time - Term time plus 2 weeks to be worked during the school holidays.
It is offered on a Permanent basis

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organised, and motivated Careers Manager to deliver and coordinate, exceptional careers guidance across our school
The role reports to the Careers and Destinations Lead and the Senior Leadership Team. Together they work to deliver and coordinate all careers advice to ensure that the school meets and exceeds the Gatsby Benchmarks. This role is also responsible for co-ordinating Work Experience placement for students in Years 9–11 and the Sixth Form.
The role is dedicated to increasing student employability and opportunities through a dynamic curriculum, specifically aiming to support the reduction of students who are Not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEET).
We are looking for someone who:

is motivated to support the raising of student aspirations

has excellent organisational and communication skills

Demonstrates resourcefulness, initiative and good time and priorities management
You will have a real interest in supporting students’ outcomes and destinations.
Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of:

Working with young people, providing careers IAG and work experience access support
-
Planning, promoting and delivering events
-
Administration and data management
-
Arbor MIS Data system
A relevant qualification in Careers Guidance & Development is desirable; however, we are also keen to hear from candidates who are currently working toward this qualification
Working days are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm - this may be subject to change according to business needs and could include attendance at relevant school events.
