Live-In Summer Housekeeper / Home Help – French Riviera, Summer 2026 Spend your summer in the South of France.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised live-in housekeeper/home help to join our family for approximately 6–8 weeks from 4th July 2026 in our beautiful countryside home near Cannes.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a summer adventure abroad while earning money, enjoying the French sunshine and experiencing life on the Côte d’Azur.
All accommodation, food and travel expenses are provided.
The Opportunity We are a relaxed and welcoming family with three adult children and a friendly one-year-old Jack Russell Terrier.
The owner works in the music industry and will continue working remotely whilst in France. We are currently preparing our much-loved family home for sale and are looking for someone to help keep the house organised and running smoothly throughout the summer.
The role would suit someone who enjoys being helpful, takes pride in keeping things tidy and enjoys dogs, country life and warm weather.
What You’ll Be Doing Your duties will vary from day to day but may include:
- General housekeeping and light cleaning
- Tidying kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- Laundry and changing beds
- Packing and organising household belongings
- Dishwasher loading and unloading
- Occasional cooking and food preparation
- Light garden assistance when required
- Looking after our Jack Russell when we are away
- Helping keep the household organised and running smoothly
What We’re Looking For Friendly, trustworthy and dependable
- Comfortable working independently
- Good spoken English
- Dog lover essential
- References required
- Driving licence helpful but not essential
Hours & Pay Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Time Off: Weekends are generally free unless otherwise agreed.
Pay: Approximately £250 per week depending on age and experience.

The house is situated in the countryside, offering peace, sunshine and stunning surroundings, while still being close enough to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and culture of the French Riviera.

Interview Process First interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
