About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Production Planner to join our Operations team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Reporting to the existing Production Planner, this is a great opportunity to learn how production planning works in a busy manufacturing environment while supporting the release and implementation of a new ERP system.
Although the role is fixed term, it offers valuable exposure to production planning, systems development and cross-department working, making it a strong opportunity for someone looking to build experience and progress their career in operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and scheduling of production activity, including lead time and delivery-date information.
- Raise and issue production paperwork, work order travellers, quality checks and area work plans.
- Maintain production records, reports and system information accurately.
- Monitor stock, labour and inventory transactions to support accurate production and costing information.
- Liaise with Sales, Production, Quality and Operations colleagues to help keep customer orders and schedules on track.
About You
We are looking for someone organised, accurate and keen to learn. Experience in production planning or manufacturing administration would be useful, but a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to develop are just as important.
- Eager to learn, hard working and reliable.
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheets and business systems.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- A flexible approach and willingness to support the wider Operations
Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
