Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Doggy Daycare & Hotel Assistant to join our team. This role involves caring for dogs in our daycare and boarding facilities, ensuring they are happy, safe, and well looked after. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the role. This position offers an engaging environment where animal care is at the forefront of daily responsibilities.
Duties
- Provide attentive care to dogs during their stay in our daycare and hotel facilities, including feeding, walking, and playtime.
- Monitor dogs’ behaviour to ensure a safe and harmonious environment for all animals.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitising kennels, play areas, and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Support clients by answering questions about their pets’ wellbeing and services offered.
- Assist with organisational tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing pet records.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- Strong animal care skills with an understanding of dog behaviour and needs.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and visitors
- Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends if necessary. This role offers an opportunity to work in a caring environment dedicated to animal wellbeing while developing valuable skills within the pet care industry.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
