Responsibilities
- Support clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Promote independence while maintaining dignity and choice
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals in line with individual preferences and dietary requirements
- Administer medication safely and accurately following care plans
- Assist with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Accompany or transport clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities
- Support individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or other support needs
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
- Respond professionally and compassionately to changing client needs
About You
- Caring, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in care is welcomed but not essential, as full training is provided
- Knowledge of dementia care, medication administration, and person-centred care is an advantage
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
