Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging football training sessions focused on technical skills, tactical awareness, fitness, and player development.
- Create structured coaching programmes suitable for different ages and ability levels.
- Develop match strategies and game plans based on team strengths and opposition analysis.
- Provide clear, positive, and constructive feedback to help players improve their performance and confidence.
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, respect, resilience, and good sportsmanship.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants.
- Track player progress and adapt coaching methods to support individual development.
- Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, trainers, and camp staff to ensure effective team management.
- Promote positive attitudes, responsibility, and commitment during training sessions and competitions.
Required Experience & Skills
- Previous football coaching experience or experience working with athletes in a team sport environment.
- Strong communication and teaching skills with the ability to coach players of different ages and skill levels.
- Good knowledge of football rules, tactics, training methods, and player safety.
- Ability to motivate players while maintaining a structured and supportive coaching environment.
- Experience designing training sessions that combine technical development, fitness, and enjoyment.
- A genuine passion for football and athlete development.
