Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food preparation and service, and the ability to manage a dynamic team effectively. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing training to staff members.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment.
- Assist in food production processes, including preparing ingredients and monitoring portion control.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies as necessary, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Support the recruitment process by participating in interviewing potential team members.
- Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Experience in food safety protocols and food production processes.
- Previous roles involving team management or leadership responsibilities in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving practices, and hospitality standards.
- Additional experience such as barista work or hotel service is advantageous but not essential. This position requires a proactive leader with excellent organisational skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to motivate others effectively. Pay: £12.71-£13.25 per hour
