Brown Cars is a busy, well-established used car dealership in Newry with a constant flow of quality retail stock. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team.
This is a straight, no-nonsense role — mainly vehicle prep, servicing, diagnostics and general repairs.
The Role:
- Retail vehicle preparation
- Servicing & general maintenance
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- Mechanical repairs (brakes, suspension, engine work etc.)
- Ensuring vehicles are retail-ready to a high standard
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
- Have 10+ years' experience
- Have their own tools
- Be confident using diagnostic equipment and fault finding
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Carry out servicing, repairs and general mechanical work to a high standard
- Timing Belts & Chains Clutches & Flywheels
- Brakes & Suspension
- Engine & Mechanical Repairs
- MOT Preparation & Diagnostics
