Salary: £49,387–£56,515 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (including participation in on-call rota)

Bury Hospice is a much-loved local charity, providing free, specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people across Bury. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Governance and Corporate Services to join our Senior Leadership Team at an exciting time of development and growth.

About the role
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead an integrated approach to quality governance, corporate services and organisational assurance across the Hospice.
You will:
- Provide leadership for governance, risk and compliance, ensuring strong organisational assurance
- Ensure the Hospice remains fully compliant and inspection-ready at all times
- Lead and develop corporate services including Estates, HR, IT and Information Governance
- Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement and learning
- Work closely with colleagues and external partners to support high-quality, safe care
- Provide assurance and insight to the Board and senior leaders to support decision making

We are looking for an experienced and confident leader who:
- Has experience in quality, governance or compliance roles
- Brings strong leadership and the ability to influence and engage at a senior level
- Has experience of risk management, audit and organisational improvement
- Can build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
- Shares and lives our Hospice values
