Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across school facilities, including sweeping, mopping, vaccing,dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene compliance.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and managing recycling procedures.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubber dryers, and carpet cleaners cleaners to achieve optimal results.
- Follow health and safety protocols meticulously to create a safe environment for all staff and visitors.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in school cleaning is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling techniques is preferred.
- Reliable attendance record with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Prior experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubber dryer etc is an advantage.
