Role Purpose:
Provide day-to-day internal IT support, triage, supplier coordination, hardware/software administration and business systems support across Brown & Carroll, working with third-party IT providers where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support and triage for internal users, escalating issues to third-party IT support and other providers where required.
Support day-to-day IT applications, communications, hardware, devices and business processes.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers including IT support, telecoms, mobile providers, printer suppliers and other technology partners.
Manage day-to-day support of hardware and devices including PCs, laptops, iPads, mobiles, VOIP, A/V equipment, printers and related peripherals.
Support hardware setup, configuration, testing and deployment across the business.
Ensure hardware configuration is fit for purpose across the Brown & Carroll estate, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and related equipment.
Support software approvals, software installations and user access requests where appropriate.
Maintain and update the company IT asset register, ensuring equipment records are accurate and kept up to date.
Support joiner, mover and leaver processes by coordinating with HR, internal stakeholders and technical providers.
Assist with Chime administration, user support and related process documentation.
Support Cyber Essentials evidence gathering, policy checks and compliance-related IT administration.
Maintain and update IT process documentation, how-to guides and internal support notes.
Support backup checks and routine IT process checks, escalating any issues where required.
Assist with MDM-related processes where applicable, noting that MDM is externally managed.
Support printer, toner, waste toner and plotter coordination where required.
Provide support for display boards, EV chargers and other internally managed business systems where applicable.
