We act for clients across the North West - and there is now more of that work than the current team should sensibly carry.
The Role
We're looking for a driven Family Law Paralegal to join the firm at an early and formative stage.
This is a role for someone who wants to build their career, a team and the firm. As well as supporting fee earners with running their caseload, you'll have a hand in raising the firm's profile, and you'll be supported to do it your way.
What You'll Do
- Support fee earners with running a caseload of divorce, financial remedy, private children and nuptial agreement work - including preparation and progression of cases, and internal file management.
- Show real care in your drafting, client care and communications - to include drafting legal documents, Court forms, correspondence (all with appropriate supervision, support and mentorship).
- Attend client meetings, Court hearings and conferences.
- Play an active part in business development - building relationships, promoting the firm and helping it grow.
What You'll Bring
- Experience of working in a law firm.
- Sound knowledge of SRA regulations and requirements.
- Strong drafting, organisation and client-care skills.
- A professional, discreet and commercially aware approach.
- Ambition to learn and grow your own career in the firm and local market.
