About the Team
The External Affairs and Supporter Fundraising Team brings together fundraising, marketing, communications, digital, policy and campaigns expertise to deliver high-impact campaigns and projects that increase awareness, engagement and income for the National Autistic Society. This role will work across multiple teams and with external partners to deliver key organisational priorities, including World Autism Acceptance Month, the 2027 TCS London Marathon Charity of the Year partnership, and projects focused on improving understanding of autism and tackling misinformation.
About the Role
This exciting 12-month fixed-term role will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of several high-profile projects taking place throughout 2027. Working across fundraising, marketing, communications, digital, policy and campaigns, you will oversee complex project plans, manage budgets and governance processes, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time and achieve their intended outcomes. You will play a key role in maximising fundraising income, supporter engagement and awareness of autism while supporting the charity's strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do

Lead the successful delivery of the 2027 TCS London Marathon Charity of the Year project, World Autism Acceptance Month 2027 campaign and projects focused on tackling misinformation about autism.

Develop and manage project plans, governance structures, budgets, timelines, reporting mechanisms and risk management processes.

Coordinate activity across multiple internal teams, suppliers, agencies and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects or campaigns with competing priorities and deadlines

Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, budgeting, reporting and risk management.

Experience managing significant budgets, forecasting expenditure and monitoring KPI performance.

This advert is for a full-time, fixed term position for 12 months at 35 hours per week.
This role is home-based, hybrid or office-based, with flexibility depending on the successful candidate's preference. Occasional evening, weekend working and travel will be required, particularly during April 2027.
