To support this, we are seeking a talented Tender Writer (or an individual with equivalent skills) to join us and help create compelling, high-quality tender submissions.
Role Overview
The Tender Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and preparing strong responses to tenders. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyse requirements, gather relevant information, and craft persuasive and well-structured proposals that align with the evaluation criteria.
This role is ideal for:
- An experienced tender/proposal/bid writer.
- A professional with strong writing and research skills who is eager to learn tender processes.
- A motivated individual who enjoys analysing information and creating impactful written content.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse tender opportunities, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
- Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality tender responses that effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and supporting documents.
- Ensure tenders are submitted accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
- Maintain a library of standard responses, templates, and supporting information for future bids.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once.
- Experience with tender writing is an advantage, but strong writing skills and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Remuneration
- This is a commission-based role, with earnings tied to the success of submitted tenders (terms to be agreed with the successful candidate).
- Based on performance and mutual agreement, the role may evolve into ongoing freelance work or a retained arrangement with the organisation.
