Carbrey Care is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead one of our Ofsted-registered children’s homes in Gloucester.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s home
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Manage, support, and develop the staff team
- Oversee recruitment, referrals, and placement decisions
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and stakeholders
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
- Drive continuous improvement and strong outcomes
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous Ofsted registration
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in children’s residential care within the last 5 years
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing and supervising staff teams
- Full UK driving licence
