Alongside our restaurant, we have a popular function suite and sports room, hosting a variety of private functions, celebrations and community events throughout the year.We're investing in our food offering and are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced chef who wants to help us build an outstanding local reputation for quality, consistency and excellent customer service.Working HoursFood service hours are:
- Thursday to Saturday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Additional shifts may be available to cater for private functions, special events and seasonal trade.The RoleAs our Chef, you will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality food while helping to create a kitchen that customers can rely on.Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Leading and supporting the kitchen team during service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies.
- Working with management to develop new dishes, specials and seasonal menus.
- Ensuring food is presented to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.
- Playing a key role in delivering an excellent dining experience for every customer.
About YouWe're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working as a in a busy kitchen.
- Can confidently supervise and lead a small kitchen team.
- Is organised, reliable and works well under pressure.
- Has a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent).
- Takes pride in producing quality food with consistency.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
- Shares our passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
