Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting in menu development, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials
- Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage storage appropriately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Serve food to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Experience with meal preparation and presentation in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
