We’re recruiting multiple Production Operatives to join a leading UK manufacturer of roofing products. If you have experience using hand tools, power tools, or have worked in construction or assembly, this is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role.
What You’ll Earn
- £13.71 per hour (day shift)
- Overtime available:
- Weekdays: £16.58 (1.25x)
- Saturday: £19.90 (1.5x)
- Sunday: £26.54 (2x)
- Monthly bonus once fully trained
- Permanent contract offered after successful probation
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:55pm OR 3pm-11pm
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling timber roof structures
- Using nail guns, saws, tape measures, and hand tools
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
- Keeping your workspace clean, safe, and organised
What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience in construction, manufacturing, or assembly (preferred)
✔ Confident using hand & power tools
✔ Able to read measurements and technical drawings
✔ Good attention to detail and quality
✔ Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
✔ Reliable with a strong work ethic
Important Info
- Immediate starts available – start the next day after interview
- 2 weeks training provided
- Tape measure test during interview (mm to cm conversions)
- Drug & alcohol test on first day
- Must have safety boots & hi-vis vest
