The Company
We’re an award-winning English fine wine producer, based in Kent. Our vision is simple: we strive to create the finest wines in the world.
We love what we do and we’re incredibly proud of Gusbourne. Whether in the vineyard, the winery, or beyond, we work together to build a sustainable future.
We embrace tradition and challenge convention. We’re at the forefront of the English wine industry – and that’s a hugely exciting place to be.
If you’d like to join us, we have a number of seasonal opportunities available in our Kent Vineyard.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working individuals to join our harvest team for the 2026 grape picking season.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an award-winning English wine estate and experience the buzz of harvest in a beautiful countryside setting.
Due to the remote location, access to your own transport is essential.
Although we don’t pick in the rain it is advisable that you come prepared to pick through light showers, therefore waterproofs as well as sturdy boots, packed lunch, water, sunhat and suncream are essential.
A WhatsApp Community group will be used to communicate picking days once harvest has commenced. Notice can be quite short so regular access to WhatsApp is necessary.
Due to the nature of the crop, we are unable to guarantee days or hours of work.
Key Information:
- Harvest Start Date: Likely mid-September but weather dependent
- Duration: Around 12 working days over a 3-week period, including weekends
- Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a 15-minute morning break)
