McGill’s Hairdressing in Edinburgh is looking for experienced and talented hair stylists to join our city centre boutique salon.
We firmly believe in giving our team the right work/life balance which is why we offer a four day working week with every other weekend off.
Our Stylists are crucial to our continued success, and our reputation as one of the best salons in Edinburgh, specialising in creative hairdressing and colouring. As a Senior Stylist, you create and deliver the expertise, experience and environment that our clients love, and which keeps them coming back to us. You are at the cutting edge of the latest trends and are always looking to expand your knowledge and skills.
You’re also keen to share that knowledge with the team who work with you.
Ability to build your clientele, with our assistance and deliver a high level, professional & friendly service
Keep up-to-date with latest trends through in-salon & academy training
Achieve your targets for sales, colour, client retention & retail
Assist our team maintain our high standards of cleanliness & hygiene
Minimum of 2 years salon experience
Desire to continue to learn and develop your skills
Ability to work in a busy salon
Team player as we have a great team feeling
Keen to achieve commission
A sense of humour
You may expect a salary dependant on experience of up to £28,500 per year, plus uncapped commission. We offer a target based quarterly bonus, plus 10% commission on all retail sold.
