Ruby Properties is a growing investment business managing assets on behalf of a diverse range of clients and investors. We're looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Bookkeeper to join our Finance team and help keep our financial records accurate, our reporting on track, and our clients' trust well earned.

What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining the general ledger, including income, expenses, accruals, and prepayments.
- Processing purchase and sales invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments.
- Reconciling bank and intercompany accounts
- Recording transactions, including subscriptions and transfers.
- Preparing monthly management accounts information, including trial balances and journal entries with the support of the group finance manager
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
- Monitoring cash flow and producing regular cash position reports.
- Keeping our financial filing systems organised, accurate, and audit-ready.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance/accounts role.
- Solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
- Confidence with Xero accounting software and Excel.
- A sharp eye for detail and a genuinely high standard of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- Discretion and integrity — you'll be trusted with confidential financial and client information.
- Bonus points: AAT qualification (or working towards one), and experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services.
