We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual holding a standard Category B driving licence to join our team as a Temporary Delivery Driver, providing essential support to our operations during the busy seasonal period. The role will be Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week + overtime when available.
Applicants must hold a clean driving licence with a minimum of two years’ driving experience and be physically fit due to the nature of the role.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for delivering a range of fuel products to domestic customers using a pick-up sized Isuzu Grafter. Duties include loading the vehicle safely and accurately using a forklift, as well as manually handling and stacking deliveries. Products include 40kg bags of coal and nets/sacks of logs.
You will be assigned delivery routes on a fortnightly schedule, covering approximately 10 different areas.
Key Requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness (regular handling of 40kg bags)
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken English)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork and carry out basic calculations
