Sandwich Maker / Food Preparation Assistant
Street Food Stall at Borough Market, London Bridge | Up to £14.80 per hour
Can you make a great sandwich? Can you make a tightly rolled wrap? Have you worked in a sandwich shop, deli, Subway-style restaurant, burrito bar or similar fast-paced food business? Then you could be exactly who we're looking for.
Nana Fanny's is RECRUITING energetic people with strong knife and food preparation skills to join our busy Borough Market street food stall. We have between 3 and 5 shifts available per week (flexible)
You'll be:
- Setting up the street food stall each morning and prepping fresh salads and vegetables
- Carving our 11-hour slow-cooked salt beef briskets and building our signature stacked sandwiches
- Rolling our freshly fried falafel wraps
- Taking orders and serving customers
- Keeping the stall clean, tidy and organised
You must be fluent in spoken English, comfortable working on your feet and happy working outdoors. You should also be physically fit and comfortable with the lifting and carrying that naturally comes with working on a street food stall.
Hours: NO LATE NIGHTS
Tuesday–Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am–5:30pm
Sunday: 8:30am–4:30pm
Pay: Up to £14.80 per hour
No evenings or late nights Staff food provided Friendly family-run team
You'll also be working in the incredible atmosphere of Borough Market – one of the world's most famous food markets, with over 1,000 years of history.
