Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Ark Experience in the Calder Valley - Mytholmroyd. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our children and staff, reflecting our commitment to safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery facilities using commercial cleaning techniques.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used and maintained.
- Support the overall tidiness of the nursery environment.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as required.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and clean environment for children.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience working in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
