MOR-Invest Ltd is looking for a motivated apprentice with strong IT and digital skills to join its Maidstone office.
This is an office-based apprenticeship combining digital marketing and client support with structured development into mortgage advice. The successful candidate will support LinkedIn and social media activity while progressively learning the mortgage process, supporting customer cases and developing the knowledge and skills required for a career in mortgage advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the firm's LinkedIn and social media marketing activity, including preparing and scheduling professional content.
- Use IT systems confidently for administration, customer records, marketing and general business support.
- Support customer mortgage enquiries under appropriate supervision.
- Gather and organise customer information and supporting documentation.
- Assist with mortgage research, applications and case progression.
- Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, solicitors and other relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate customer and case records and follow the firm's compliance procedures.
- Develop knowledge of mortgage products, regulation, customer service and the wider financial services market.
- Shadow experienced staff and progressively develop towards mortgage advice activities under appropriate supervision.
What we are looking for:
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and online systems.
- An interest in social media and digital marketing, particularly LinkedIn.
- Able to travel reliably to the Maidstone office on working days.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn and develop a career in mortgage advice and financial services.
- Previous customer service, sales, administration or social media experience would be helpful but is not essential.
Working arrangements
30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:30pm with a one-hour unpaid break.
The role is office-based at Belmont House, St Faiths Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1LH.
Training and progression
The successful candidate will complete the Level 3 Mortgage Adviser Apprenticeship, combining structured apprenticeship training with practical workplace development.
The programme will support progression towards the recognised mortgage qualification requirements and occupational competence in mortgage advice.
Pay
£8.00 per hour, the current National Minimum Wage apprentice rate. Pay will increase where required in accordance with the apprentice's age and year of apprenticeship.
