In this hands-on role, you will support field trials, breeding activities, and seed production while working with a variety of crops and modern agricultural machinery.

Carry out field activities including cultivation, drilling, spraying, pest control, and harvesting using precision trial and farm machinery.

Support crop production for trials, breeding nurseries, and seed production.

Work across a diverse range of crops within the Multi-Crop station.

Assist both Field Operations and Trial Operations teams.

Maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles and agricultural machinery.

Record field activities and observations using KWS IT systems.

Follow SOPs, work instructions, and operational plans.

Adhere to all KWS Health & Safety policies and guidelines.

Formal agricultural education.

Experience operating agricultural machinery.

Knowledge of trial delivery and field operations.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Trustworthy, reliable, and eager to learn about plant breeding.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Supervisory experience would be a plus
