We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate a bus, ensuring the safe transport of passengers to their designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for operating a bus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with passengers and team members.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanour under pressure while managing time effectively.
