We have an amazing opportunity for a L3 Early Years Educator to join our wonderful team. The ideal candidate would love being outdoors and long to provide the most magical early years education.
The candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This position requires a commitment to promoting the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and learning through engaging activities.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that support children's learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents that occur.
Skills
- Strong background in childcare with experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive may be advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities.
- Leadership qualities to inspire and guide other staff members.
- Proficient in managing classroom dynamics and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
