We are entering an exciting phase of expansion and are recruiting permanent Production Operatives to join our established manufacturing site in Frome.

Shift pattern – this role includes nights
You will work a 4on 4 off shift pattern:
This is a 4on 4off shift role, not a fixed shift. You must be able to work this shift, including nights, on a regular basis.
The role
You will be trained to operate and oversee packing line machinery to ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands‑on, active role in a food manufacturing environment where attention to detail and consistency are critical.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running and monitoring production and packing machinery
- Ensuring correct packaging materials are available to lines
- Completing on‑line quality checks
- Palletising finished goods and transporting safely to cold storage
- Actively reducing wastage and re‑work
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and strict health & safety standards at all times
Working environment – important to know
- Food production environment with strict hygiene controls
- PPE must be worn at all times
- The role may involve repetitive tasks, time on your feet and handling products
- High standards of cleanliness, accuracy and compliance are essential
If working in a food manufacturing environment does not suit you, this role will not be the right fit.

- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Driving licence required (site location)
