Behind every great Cabana service is a clean,organised and well-supported kitchen. As Kitchen Porter,you’ll play a vital part in helping the chefs and wider team deliver bold flavours,smooth service and memorable guest experiences every shift.
Your day-to-day:
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
- Washing dishes,pots,pans,utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Keeping equipment clean,organised,stored correctly and ready for use
- Supporting chefs with food preparation,such as peeling,chopping and portioning ingredients
- Helping with kitchen organisation before,during and after service
- Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
- Supporting stock rotation,food labelling and freshness checks
- Carrying out regular deep cleaning tasks,including floors,walls,surfaces and storage areas
- Keeping storage,refrigeration and back-of-house areas clean and organised
- Following food hygiene,health and safety and PPE procedures at all times
- Supporting the kitchen team with any tasks needed to keep service running smoothly
