Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our hotel’s communal spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or janitorial roles and possess a strong commitment to providing a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, lifts, and restrooms to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in public facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and flooring in all designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the management team promptly.
- Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes to support smooth hotel operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
