Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production processes, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained throughout operations. Duties
- Operate various production equipment with attention to safety and efficiency
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of products according to company standards
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and other food safety regulations at all times
- Conduct routine quality checks and report any issues immediately
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas in line with hygiene standards
- Support in the movement of ingredients and finished products within the facility
- Perform basic mechanical tasks, such as troubleshooting minor equipment faults
- Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for measurements and quantities
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic understanding of production processes and safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for handling equipment maintenance is desirable
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate loads
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow strict health and safety guidelines
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
